the good news for Madeline despite the disaster event : considering how well Kaiya is doing, and Sara-Maude here, she no longer needs to feel that she is carrying Canada's women on her shoulders. It may remove some of the pressure she might be feeling..

And Maddie continues to struggle. It's been so hard to watch her this season. At this point, I think she should go back to last year's FS. I don't think she's ever had a good performance of this FS. She has to change something.

I hope so, but I worry she’ll be pressured at Worlds due to the issue of spots for Montreal

Nice skate by Yoshida - so elegant and great jumps. Close to the 3A. I was cheering and hoping for Tara. And wonderful skate by the Canadian but what a mess for Maddie. SKate Canada must be panicking. Two spots isn't going to hap pen. Canada may be wishing Gabby Daleman was competing.
