Am very proud of Amber. This is authentic Amber. Take her as she is - no more apologizing or feeling sorry for her. Gutsy skate. Still not likely to end on the podium. The youngsters are just too strong.

What happened to Levito? Amber looks crushed. The skating so far has been very good but not super. The top Japanese ladies really are missed and usually a more marquee Canadian (then again it has been awhile since Kaetlyn Osmond skated and before then Rochette.and Americans are missing too. Levito is missed but she doesn't have the cachet or charisma of a Kwan, Cohen or even Wagner or Gold in her prime.
