She was due for a win. A wonderful win for such a lovely skater.

Impressive that we've seen such good skating at altitude.

some people were mentioning this as a very unfair advantage... of course, it's tough, but skaters are very well trained athletes... i am not really surprised by the high level of the competition.

Can we talk about what a disappointing non-entity the choreo sequences in the women's programs are? The element has been added to lend some spice and individuality, and IMO, it's been a complete failure. All we've seen are some mostly lacklustre spirals and uninteresting knee slides. Come on!

Happy when I get to see some pretty spirals...emphasis on jumps scoring has nearly crowded them out.
