2023 JGP Istanbul Women's Free Skate

Has anyone ever liked rushed out the third time their name is called -

Oh wait, yes according to Ted... but at like World's something? I feel like Shoma would be a top candidate for that :laugh2:

Come on Lana, just do how you have done in the short, maybe a little bit better if you can.

Her limbs are so long, it's really impressive how well she has them under control. With a bit more work, she could have really nice lines. Good skate for her, she looks pretty happy, I think.

I like Selin's dress. Fun to see the Turkish girls getting some love at home.

Here just in time for my least favorite event! Did I miss all the others?

She's so cute, her confused face at the end 🥹 What a good skate for her, I am so happy to see some Turkish women on the JGP, in the past we've mostly seen the (very talented) boys.

Oh Ted talking about that off-ice spinner. I dislocated a shoulder using one of those things.
Funny story - I was practicing on it at home in the morning and waiting for a friend to pick me up to go see 1994 US Nationals the year Nancy got wacked and Tonya won. The next year I was sitting in the audience at Skate America when Todd Eldredge dislocated his shoulder on a warm-up right in front of me. His popped back in, mine didn't. But I admire how he was able to skate that day.

I also like they support their own skaters at country which is not typical country but if I were there I think the screaming would be to much for me live.
