I generally like Joey Russel choreo, but Rio does not look to me like he understands the program. Maybe I am being too hard on him, but it could be Rhapsody in Blue or it could be anything. I do like his fast crisp spins and other movements.

I'll give you Beethoven, but the '98 Kwan Rachmaninoff Nats Short is one of my comfort programs, and I've lost count of how many times I've watched it.

If I recall properly, she was using Rach 3 only... Alec starts with Rach 1

He was on the JGP this year, so he probably is. But I think it's his last year of eligibility, they said he's 19.

A good opportunity for some of these men in this group to beat both beat Conrad and Roman and score over 213.
Matthew has always been underrated
I don’t know what to expect from a Russian and Paradis (I can’t wait to watch his program).

The door is open for both Wes and Aleksa… two BC men, to place in the top two and go to 4CC. At least Skate Canada gave enough men the opportunity to meet the technical requirements to give us these many options here.
