That wasn't perfect, but it was still very impressive - Way to go, Roman! He really is the class of the field, and has everything that he needs to be amongst the top skaters in the world. I felt that he was really patient and calm tonight, so perhaps his mental training is starting to pay dividends. That was a very enjoyable performance.

Wait, is this actually up for discussion?? Of course he’s going to Worlds. I personally think he would be going regardless of his result. I mean…who else can Canada send? Then again, I’m not familiar with the selection criteria, but it seems obvious to me.

To be fair, that was before Stephen's, Wesley's and Aleksa's withdrawals. With Stephen's season being over and Wesley and Aleksa both being big question marks for 4CC, a skate-off doesn't seem that necessary anymore.
I do hope Wesley and Aleksa recover soon though, a few more options than one singular skater would be very appreciated

Ugh. I hate skate offs. They’re almost always unnecessary and this time is no different. And was this announced before Nationals? If so, that’s foul.

I did see the SP, and I was impressed. He completely sold weird (to me) music. A good talent to have.

I’m 50/50 on it. They told them upfront once Wesley WD.

Although Roman skated fantastic, it was low stakes in that the other “strong” competitors weren’t in attendance.
