oh I thought we were done with the Canadian sadboi anthems, we were doing so well in this competition with fun, unique music, but apparently Aleksa has decided to carry on the torch

I sort of question the decision to go for the quad in the short - a clean program would have absolutely kept him in the title hunt, especially as Roman and John aren't the most consistent and Aleksa has a huge BV lead over Anthony and Matthew - and it might have helped the other jumps be clean. Aleksa really has improved so much with his basic skating quality and performance - he has some really gorgeous lines - so it's a shame that this was such a rough skate for him.

Tight maybe too hard to follow Anthony but hey it's a competition. He can still make the podium.

so, so good... and then the axel happened... and then it was really good again

at least this event has a plethora of great performers and spinners... if we're gonna splat in Canada, it's going to be aesthetic splatting

You never know with Roman but this was basically good. Nice edges early on. Good leg extension. Combo not much height but still good.

Few heart attacks later in the middle of the night here, induced by Canadian men/boy brigade, few hysterical shrieks that had potential to have my neighbours knocking, Roman somewhat lived. So did Anthony. Whew.
