I did ask her mom if Sofia still liked to skate.....her mom asked Sofia and she said yes. So that's good.

She's often injured. I though the new boots were helping. I'm holding Kaitlyn kitten for comfort. I don't really want to ask her mom if she is currently injured because well....I don't want to say hey her program sucked, is she injured? and I can't think of a polite way to ask.

EDIT: She's just been overtaken. My kid is now in 2nd.​

But, I can relate. All too often my kids are down the order.

And it is all the more difficult when you have a personal connection with the skater. You really feel for them.
