Is anyone else having a problem with the volume? I've had to turn it up so far it'll shatter my eardrums if I forget to turn it back down before watching something else.
Oh, I can definitely relate to that statement!
That is what it is like with our Sky+HD box. Even when you have the volume on the TV turned up full blast, you can barely hear it. And it's not because the box is getting old - it's been like that since the day and hour we got it!
And because of that, we tend to watch things on our old SD box instead, because the sound on it is much better. You only have to turn the TV volume up half-way to listen to it comfortably.
Yes, I know the picture quality isn't as good, but I don't care. Being able to hear what people are saying is far more important to me than having a high resolution picture.
I can hear Ted fine, it's the music I can't hear.
The irony! Usually when watching things it's the music that is loud, and the talking that you can't hear.
Oh, it really angers me when so-called "background" music in TV programmes and films drowns out the actual dialogue.
In this case, I reckon Ted or somebody in the gallery has turned down the volume on the audio stream of the sound in the arena because it is too loud (thank you for that insight @cohkaix), but they've turned it down too much.
