As far as I understand, Lyuba didn't have her own costume and borrowed it from Lidia (they are from different coaching teams)Why is she wearing nearly the same identical outfit as that other young lady?

She's from AoP.Identical dress to Pliskacheva ; maybe she's also coached by Panova ?
Not long ago they used to wear their black workout uniforms for test skates. They probably just did it for the day for some reason. Costumes weren't ready and maybe this girl grew out of her last season's uniform.
By the way this is Pleskacheva's outfit from last season so likely not a final choice for anybody.
You might be right from a TECH perspective about Sinitsyna. I wasn't really considering from a competitive perspective for some reason but a personal one.I think Petrosian is the only threat out of those skaters (unfortunately I think it will take time for Akatieva to reclaim previous form), but of course Zhilina is a possible threat if she can regain old form (I'm not sure about this either). Petrosian might have grown and the jumps became harder. It's going to be a very close season.
Now the Fed asks to have at least some costume because of the broadcast. Not long ago they used to wear their black workout uniforms for test skates.
Fedotov who's able to look stunning even without a costume:Now the Fed asks to have at least some costume because of the broadcast.
For juniors yes. Thats what I was expecting, like last year. Not long ago they used to wear their black workout uniforms for test skates.
Silly. Last season was fine just wearing training clothes. Now the Fed asks to have at least some costume because of the broadcast.
Oh niceAs far as I understand, Lyuba didn't have her own costume and borrowed it from Lidia (they are from different coaching teams)
What is this music? Its very pretty. It sounds like the language is Russian maybe?
Well to be honest Dvoeglazova and Pleskacheva were the only ones who really made me feel anything today
I think the two girls I mentioned had nice music. But in general I agree. The music was not really giving today. Hopefully we get something more sophisticated tomorrow. Its the musical choices. They're all lackluster.
Except the last girl who skated. I like her music.
I thought they were all wonderful. Margo-such wonderful easy jumps, but of all the girls, her program doesn't make me feel anything, but she is only 12. She doesn't have an innate musicality yet, but I'm sure she will in time. Kosteleva is just special and a level above for me, especially with performance quality.Well to be honest Dvoeglazova and Pleskacheva were the only ones who really made me feel anything today

Muravieva with a 3A would have Dvoeglazova's number unless she gets trash programs as well.
3A is a weakness. Last season it didn't matter it was a depleted field Muraviova with no quads and a demotivated Valieva pushing through horrific psychological trauma no adult could withstand.Petrosian isnt losing her 4T. Thats impossible. She actually became more stable after she got bigger last season. She was struggling with sickness until the end and still dropped like 250 without a 3A. She is genius tier so Dvoeglazova would have to be Kamila talent to challenge her this early in her career.
I think top 3 is an almost certainty for her.Akateva we cant make any assumptions. Many skaters have missed seasons. Its the same story as Petrosian with her if she even just gets back a 4T.
Dvoeglazova can push top 3 if Muravieva flops but I find it unlikely. Calling her favourite for the season is just delusional lets be honest she has not shown us what Petrosian has, not even close. Especially with that FS. It would be an insult to the sport if she beat Petrosian with that FS.
Exactly. It didnt matter. It was mickey mouse season. Petrosian had no reason to try. She had a free win. On top of that she got sick twice and lost her 3A, but landed it anyways and dropped 250. They gave her the lamest SP ever but her FS alone nuked my entire world. Its only making her look better.3A is a weakness. Last season it didn't matter it was a depleted field Muraviova with no quads and a demotivated Valieva pushing through horrific psychological trauma no adult could withstand.
