She decided to have the competition of her career so far here - Something clicked for her today in the Free.
Hoping she'll be able to keep that mentality in future events, because she has always been an amazing skater, but not necessarily a consistent one.

Well Niji I know your matron status and she is of quality but top 3? Really? Is she alongside Jia and Shimada Mao? Really?

I was more so meaning Jia/Mao are 1-2 and then Rena is challenging to push into that top 3 status for bronze, obviously Jia and Mao are way ahead in terms of quality and technical difficulty

well at least we can be mystified and sad together. It is frustrating because I gave this a lot of thought and watched a lot of video before deciding. I am tempted to just throw the names of the top 10 in a bowl and pick next time.

Oh that is absolutely correct, sorry for misreading. It's a packed race for that no.3 spot for sure

30 here. I had Gladki and Yujae the wrong way round and had Josephine Lee in 4th instead of 5th. I think I get 10 points for each of those. I didn't have Wada down at all (she'd not done well in the competitions I looked at scores from) and I'd put Kaljuvere in 5th and she was nowhere near. I'd put Uezono down in 1st.

I did well in pairs (65), but the rest of my predictions have been rubbish this time.

i had Wada but in 3rd and Gladki in 4th...Rena in 1st i only got Josephine right

I love doing predictions, actually, even though I hardly know what I'm doing. Next two weeks will be fun because I can't watch ANY of the comps...we're leaving for vacation on Wednesday, so I probably will do other stuff next week and the week after I'll be at Nebelhorn.

I had 70 combined after 2 events, I can only dream of 65...

My pairs was a bit of a fluke. I got the top 4 correct somehow and the pair I predicted 5th finished 7th. Mens ans ladies has been a disaster zone for my predictions this week and ID isn't looking any better. I do find ice dance predictions tricky, though, because I don't follow ID as much as pairs and singles and don't know who a lot of them are.

Kaljuvere finished in 7th, so you should get 5 points for that, so 35 in total
