2024 Skate Canada Women's Free Skate

Wow, I thought Madeline would go into the lead but she didn't get enough points in the FS to hold back Rina total.

I hate SOS sung by a woman... the whole point of the song is not that the woman uses borderline throat/chest voice to push the low notes but that the man uses head voice for the high notes... this just makes me like this program less and that's unfortunate because Hana is cool.

Oh boy. Um. How do I put this nicely… or at least not viciously…

Maddie Schizas is not a good match for this kind of character, and the program is a huge disservice to her. I have liked her in other things, and with other styles but… I kept seeing her drop out and lose the performance over and over, and the performance was basically a grin and claw hands a couple times. Just so awkward. Lot of empty moments too. Oof. I’m sorry, I just can’t.

Honey, that was a bad hydroblade...

I get my name butchered every day in my own country.
I got paged in the airport on my way to Skate America, and I only responded because I had already realized I'd forgotten to show them my passport and was waiting for it. Of 6 people called, I was the only one to respond. They had better luck when they re-paged the rest and said they were wanted for "document check". Whether they recognized their names or realized they had to show their passports is a moot question.

Sorry but I agree

I wasn't expecting that fall from Hanna. Think she has enough of a gap to stay ahead of Rino Matsuike, though.
