I think the placements are correct. But, Yaena was crying tears of disappointment when she got her score and was in 2nd, at that time. So, she must have just missed out qualifing to Challenge.Top 8 who should move on to Challenge, I'll have to verify if I have it right when the results go up:
1 - Sandrine Blais
2 - Megane Vallieres
3 - Laurence Gignac
4 - Eva Sicurella
5 - Stavrina Aranitis
6 - Selena Koster?
7 - Alice Roy
8 - Yaena Nam
I'm going to make a spreadsheet tomorrow to track Senior Women, it's easier doing it from the start![]()
Aleksa Volkova got a bye for Senior Women, Patinage Quebec listed her for it in their expected Challenge entries list. They also list 8 expected entries for Junior Women in Challenge - https://patinage.qc.ca/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/2024-2025_PQ_Bye_JR_SR-v18102024.pdfAlso, the cut off seemed to be only for top 7 here. Yaena was in tears that she missed out with 119 and the girl that skated and placed 7th here was so happy to finish 7th with a 120 score.
@saine So, I think Aleksa V. gets a bye to challenger for Juniors and not Seniors

I went back and checked her TES, she did score over the minimum in the summer at CQE so she should be able to go. I think she was hoping to do better and wanted a better score.Hmm!!
I just found it so strange that Yaena was crying when she was in 2nd with only six skaters to go. I was thinking to myself, you qualified, be happy. Maybe, she missed the minimum TES score![]()

These two have improved SO MUCH.Rolland/Lacasse - Noemie slid quite a bit on the fall for the 3SThAlso a fall on the SBS 3S. TES looked close to Quattrochi/Desmarais when it ended, and they had more of a lead from the SP.
88.12 for the free, 139.13 for the win, I think they should get two JGP assignments next year Skate Canada.
But hé did have a bye to challenge right?I think he did, the results should show it when they update for the Junior Men.
He does. It's supposed to be conditional upon competing at sectionals according to the Skate Canada rules for JGP assignments, but there've been a few skaters who haven't done that as per the rules. He should be fine to go if he's okay to compete. But hé did have a bye to challenge right?

Does it say anywhere they have to do both the SP and LP ?No, it doesn't say full competition in the rule. It's just confirm their bye by competing in their respective sectional championship. He competed.Well, he showed up and competedDoes it say anywhere they have to do both the SP and LP ?
