I was watching most of the women while eating dinner in a restaurant and in the car ride home (don't worry, my partner drove lol)

Score seems quite low (almost) across the board - was expecting Mone to be quite a lot higher, and Amber too - despite the big stepout in her combo, the 3A was really good. Yet Rinka's score is surprisingly high - I thought her unders will drag down her score more

But as it stands after the SP, I got 1-5 almost perfectly right, just Rion and Rinka switched places
Hopefully the top 5 will put their best game in the free, it will be exciting!!

ETA: Rinka's lutz was called clean... so confused, as it looks very obviously under even in real time. Meanwhile Mone's lutz and Amber's 3A both got a q mark I don't like conspiracy theories so I'll give the tech panel benefit of the doubt, maybe their replay glitched during Rinka's lutz

No need to say who I am rooting for. Totally biased CaroLiza_fan is rooting for his kid Marilena Kitromilis!

I absolutely love her SP. But then I remembered that she has had disaster skates every time she has done her FS so far. So I think my glasses are a bit too rose coloured at the moment.

Seriously though, it is going to be fascinating to see who rises to the occasion.

A good chance of an all Japanese GPF after the short. Mone should have a bigger lead. Caller was much stricter on her than Rinka and Amber.

I'm going to assume it was an angle issue as well. Because, I also don't like conspiracy theories. The lutz was so obviously UR from the view we saw. I don't necessarily disagree with the q calls. They were fair, but if they call Mone and Amber for those jumps a lot of other jumps that weren't called should have been called. I just think the technical panel needs to have more camera views available to them.

I like Rinka a lot. But, I don't think she should be as close to the top group as she is. The quality in her basic transistions, skating, and (honestly) the 3lutz today just wasn't there compared to the other 4.
