Some errors creeping in there at the end for Bradie - she'll get under calls on her flip and her last three jumps. I think based on the quality of her other elements and her small SP lead over Sherry she will land in third she'll be fine, they're just giving her q's (le sigh) but this will definitely leave the door open for Isabeau to take a Worlds spot. I feel bad for Bradie - she's been through so much and this isn't a reflection of what she can do in practice.

NBC requires that they talk through the performance. Ted gets away with not talking on the JGP but even he is forced to talk through the performance when he is doing seniors. I find Ashley a lot less irritating than most commentators.

She is a great competitor. However, a lot of those jumps were UR. My feeling is they won't call them. They are trying to convince the international panels to give her better scores.

Alysa has improved so much since even the start of this season - her jumps have more spring and ease, her rotations are cleaner, her skating skills and speed are much better, and her stamina is getting back up to allow her to go all-out for the entire program. This is just such a fun program and such an incredible moment for an athlete to be able to medal at Nationals after retiring, after choosing to come back to the sport and skate because they truly love it.
