Is it me, or do we have more vocals than we used to in this? I do think it humanizes the piece, and so improves itI actually didn't hate the robot program this time...I thought it was very well skated.

They have definitely made subtle tweaks to this that make it better, even though I still think they would have been much, much better off going with something that plays to their strengths

I think I would've liked to see them do the actual Blade Runner - so Marco could emote over Charlene as they fall in love. It also had some really cool music.

I would have swapped the Finns and the Brits, but other than that, I like this top five. Really happy for Olivia and Tim!

Congratulations to Charlene & Marco for the win! France for silver, The Brits win bronze in a tight battle with the Finns. Pleased to see Smart & Dieck move up with their stunning Dune. Ali & Saul also skated very well. Tight scoring in 2-4

This team works very hard every year to be different and original and to add intricate entries and exits to their elements and create new lifts. The insinuation that they just throw money at the judges is a cheap shot and dismissive of the actual work that they do. How the event turns out this year will depend more on execution on the day by three very worthy teams than hypothetical gifts of money.

I wish I went with my gut to put Olivia & Tim 5th - I would've been perfect there and helped to fix my disastrous ladies finish.Happy for the medalists, but I don't think I ever did so bad in my Dance predictions!

So Finland will have three spots next year, right? There is one more senior pair and at least one junior pair is age eligible to compete in seniors if they want to. Both just have to develop a more to be able to get the minimums. But they are developing step by step, so let's see.

)Actually, in all seriousness, is it not time that we went to 24 going through to the Free in all categories? 20 for Dance and 16 in Pairs is really skimpy compared to the 24 in Singles.

I actually did put Olivia and Tim in 5th, and I got Charlene and Marco right, but the other places were a mess!
