I've seen this dynamic before. I can't recall the specifics, but I feel like in the past, the American judge would lowball an American skater if they seemed on track to beat the "preferred" American skater. And once again the CAN judge is hardest on GoGo.
Except I am not sure there is a preferred Canadian skater. Just a group of great mediocrity and or unfulfilled potential. But this makes the Canadian battle more fascinating and unpredictable.I've seen this dynamic before. Perhaps that is the pattern for American judges/skaters.I've seen this dynamic before. I can't recall the specifics, but I feel like in the past, the American judge would lowball an American skater if they seemed on track to beat the "preferred" American skater.
that's as much bling as I have ever seen on Andrew, and he looks great in it.Go back and look at Nebelhorn 22 protocols..Or lowball another skater..w ridiculous levels..I saved those protocolsPerhaps that is the pattern for American judges/skaters.
The pattern for Canadian judges is to simply lowball their won skaters. Tough love has its limits in my opinion.

Poor Liam - I really hope his coach treats him well. However, I'm here in Oberstdorf and noticed after the short programme that Liam's coach spent a long time (must have been about 20 minutes) talking at him - difficult to tell from the coach's body language whether it was criticism or just constructive feedback, but whichever way, it was a long time to talk at someone. Liam looked to be patiently listening. My friend sat next to Liam's coach on an international flight and said he was incredibly rude to the staff and hogged the armrests.
