Not a fan of the music, or of the program itself (felt a bit empty for what Matvey can do in terms of artistic performance) but Matvey is such a wonderful skater he compels you to watch him. Such an amazing flow, lovely spins and overall beautiful skating

It's rare when he's negative. He was most negative towards an athlete who skated a program choreographed by him (that happened at the previous stage).

It's rare when he's negative. He was most negative towards an athlete who skated a program choreographed by him (that happened at the previous stage).

In general Misha is only particularly harsh with skaters he is close friends with, grew up/trained with or otherwise has opportunity to be strict without offending.

He is very fair and supportive otherwise. There are commentators who try to overstep in general, like Yagudin, and when it happens Kolya either stays quiet or tries to switch topic.

Easily best SP of the season. I've never Andrei involved in the performance so much.

Hopefully he skates it clean like at Panin Memorial at least once again.
