Unfortunately she failed the test.
Is there a jump tournament planned, maybe they should hold one this is how Valieva got her 4T back in 2022/23 she never messed up a 4T again.
The free skate doesn't have the energy of last season, but the nervousness comes through in the performance now.
There's not really any progress since Beijing. There will be even more pressure on her free skate in Milan because she'll struggle to get into the final group, she'll probably start 7-8 points behind the leaders.
I liked the way she had it yesterday better than today. Important Russian skating news.

Olympics is still a long way off for Adelia, I am rooting for her as she seems to be under so much pressure.
On a completely different note does anyone know what happen to Sofia Zakharova? I really liked her Diamonds are a girls best friend program from a few seasons ago.

Lepikhina — just like yesterday nice to see her taking this opportunity and delivering her best. Nice saves on the Lutzes.
Tretiakova — she looks less consistent than last season. She fell multiple times during warm-up. The skate was much better.
Mazur — I like this program much more than the short one. I don't even remember the SP, to be honest. Pity about the fall, she was doing her best to try to stay on this flip.
Pulina — Ah, that was very close to a perfect skate from her. She seems to lose concentration mid-skate like Amber Glenn. That's enought for nationals, right? Not sure I agree with PCS being behing Mazur.
Yametova — she just isn't improving anymore unfortunately. Last season's programs were just better. I don't understand the layout, there's absolutely no reason to go for a 3Lz+3T in the free.
Gushchina — seems to become less consistent than before. Probably nerves, but she wasn't perfect in practice, too. Nice save on the combos, she managed to stay on the podium because of it. The change of direction combo spin is just bad.
Gorbacheva — was fighting with the 3Lz most of the warm-up. At the very end of the warm-up there was something like a 4S attempt but that wasn't any close. Much better skate than I expected from her in this shape.
Petrosian — multiple quads during the warm-up. It looked like she would go for two ones in the free. She was doing ones in the combination, too. In the actual skate she was much more cautios and fell. The triples were very good, like before the injury.

Sofia missed the first half of last season due to injury. Later she appeared at some event in the very end of the season but almost without triples. She tried to compete at the RGP qualification but her jumps are not confident yet.

To be honest, I've never seen Adeliia less tentative and more confident than yesterday.
It was a different skater from today. I was so proud of her. It was no longer a skater who contemplates every element. It was a skater who approaches the holistic program understanding a jump doesn't matter one way or another. You almost never see this in skating anymore. Muravieva, Frolova, Gushchina, Sinitsyna—none of them have anything close to this. It was always Adeliia's strength in theory: general choreographic cohesion. To be honest from what I saw yesterday, today was the first time I felt totally confident she would skate clean.
I didn't watch the program today. I basically got out of my chair to leave when I saw how slow the entry was. I didn't need to see the fall. Nothing would've surprised me more than this jump being landed. It was clear to me this whole program was finished from the first few seconds. I will not re-watch it either. I'm sure Gorbcheva had the best skate today anyways she impressed me beyond explanation.
This program in general doesn't make me feel anything and won't. It lived its life last season. Let it rest. There is another program yearning to be skated cleanly which never was. I am shamed that whatever happens at Olympics, Adeliia might undeservedly be the tool of judgement against this camp for their treachery.
Valieva dealt with a doping scandal. Adeliia is on a Ukrainian DOX list as an enemy of the state. With millions praying her life is ruined and nobody helping carry the honour of her coaching staff or nation. It's not even close to the same situation at all. If Kamila fumbled over a doping scandal and some bad media, she would've retired on the spot after getting put on a damn foreign government war "list".

Adeliia’s 4T doesn’t make me nervous – I know she can do it. What makes me nervous is her mental state. I’m afraid we’re going to watch her break under all this pressure. I used to feel excited before she stepped on the ice, but now my nerves are wrecked and all I can do is pray she holds it together. After the fall on the 4T, she looked like she was about to cry. I really don’t want to see another mental breakdown at the Olympics.

She had 4 years to disengage from that camp and even find her way to the international stage via her heritage. Her parents and her chose to preserve the toxic dependency. If she is judged as a stalwart tool, it is by choice.

4 years ago she was 14. You were doodling in class at that age, not thrown in the middle of an international information war. Yea, this was all by "choice" of a bureaucratic nightmare propaganda operation (in which her coaches are complicit).

Parents of other skaters even younger than Petrosyan made the decision to transfer their kids immideatly or seek the change of sport citizenship. Tutberidze moved her own daughter immediately as well. They had a choice, even with RusFed's tightening rules and time to do so. Staying and becoming a mascot of that team was a choice. Obviously, it was convenient. If she is treated as yet another next Tutberidze's girl, it's because she is.

Who is "they" that I'm defending? I never defended "they". Anybody responsible for Adeliia as a minor is complicit. Adeliia herself was a minor. A 14 year old can not be held accountable for being raised & totally brainwashed solely to be the millionth cog of a propaganda machine. End of story. She isn't even a cog—she is like some oil applied on some other barely consequential piece. What? When she was a smart, grown-up 16 year old she was supposed to start a new life on her own out of thin air? All of this for that. It's actually a tragedy.
