Adelia also had a big UR (at a minimum a clear q) on the 3F in the sequence. Lutz she fell underrotated. 4T would be hit with UR in the Olympics, Defintiely 4th best skater and she didn't have the pressure of competition, nor have to skate a short program yesterday.

Gleb has some nice skating skills and good glide, but the performance was lacking. And the scores are very low. Seems something is off this season for him, especially after winning silver at Nats last season, it seems he can't capitalize on that achievement

She was never a power jumper, but now the jumps are barely clearing the ice and rotation is short on many of them. But who could have predicted that last year? Same with the men, now it seems to me they should have chosen Vlad, as his PCS has improved to Olympic levels.

The ISU devised the AIN rules precisely to achieve this kind of result, knowing how much something can change in the space of 6-12 months. There's no reason why 31st December couldn't have been the cut off.
