Well, I thought they are beautiful costumes, so I'm not complaining about them being used again.

By the way, when I made a Fan Video for the birthday of one of my skating kids a couple of months ago, there ended up a disproportionate number of pictures of her wearing royal blue dresses. I love the colour myself, and I do think it suits her really well.

Oh, I fully agree that that's how it should be judged but, they've clearly been judging based on whenever the toe-pick hits this season. I mean, with the usual favouritism but, it gets called usually like this.

Generally I'm very happy with Kh/B's debut. No major mistakes both days. Both 5th group lifts in the free need work but they are not too bad as at their first event. They even managed to do a level four death spiral in the end of the program.

And the same goes for A-Ha and "Take On Me".

Rinky didn't like these versions either, and punished Veronika Merenkova & Danil Galimov (KRD) for them.

I feel sorry for them.

On the plus side, I loved the costumes. Deep purple, with black trousers for Danil.

They go into 3rd position in the FS and 2nd position overall.

Shcherbinina/Petrov defeated themselves now. I was expecting they would be able to put combo behind the second jump but not. Now fall... Nerves got them. Their first senior championship was too much for them...

Petrov very nervous. It was a silly mistake how he fell. Then the repeat... sort of a disaster.

Sh/P are also very nervy at their first nationals too. As I said after their SP, they had a lot of problems with their SBS in practice including him falling on it. They looked to lack experience to change the combos. At least, for them it should be enough to take the lead.
