Somebody invent cyborg technology already, so that we'll have Plushy skating forever. :laugh: (The Nobel Prize is just the side dish).

Lol, I'm a crazy-obsessive fan who voted forever! Still have a few weeks of complete freedom before I'm swallowed up by life. I don't trust IceNetwork's articles (one writer in particular seems to have it out for Plushenko...), but I don't think they're one monolithic entity of Anti-Plush that'll go so far as rigging the results of polls.

I voted a few times, but nothing too crazy...now, my obsessive checking of Twitter and the Beppu ice show website (to see if Plushy is confirmed as a guest) might be considered crazy...but hey, it paid off for the Sendai shows. And really, what other reason could he possibly have to keep hanging around Japan all week?

I wouldn't be surprised if Mishin working on that cyborg technology. ;) With his background in biomechanics and his inventions like the "magic vest," I could easily see Plushy being his lab rat, so to speak.
 
OMG, baby Artur! Oh, I get it now... Mishin was going to use Artur as his lab rat for cyborg technology before he gifts it to Plushenko. Maybe that's why Artur left... either because he didn't want to be a lab rat, or he got mad when he found out the final product was meant for Plush. :slink:

Today we arrived in the southern city of Japan Beppu, ahead are 4 shows, all tickets sold out long ago!

And lol @ Mishin using Artur as a lab rat/guinea pig...maybe Artur, after discovering the truth and feeling "used," decided to sell his secret technology to TAT. The fan fiction writes itself!
 
I've also read on a couple of tweets that he's confirmed for DOI as well, but then they are now saying his name has disappeared from the list so who knows :confused:

Great, we are writing dramatic fanfiction.
Anyways, I hope Plushy doesn't push himself too hard. But maybe he knows better than us. If he is ready fir the ice shows in Beppu and DOI as well, then it's great news because we will have more videos of him. :yay:
 
Dramatic science fan fiction at that... Keep it coming. :) Though I've always been more fond of fantasy myself - no chance you people could work in a dragon or two?

Oh @Sandpiper - I think I've worked out a solution to your Cheetah Dilemma. Some people may not consider it wholly realistic, but I see no problems with it. ;)

Hehe, I much prefer fantasy myself too. Hmm... Maybe Artur makes a deal with the Devil to switch bodies with Plushenko so he can gain the cyborg technology? While the real Plushenko is stuck in Artur's body, has to train with TAT/Kovtun (:laugh:)... He tries to tell everyone he's really Plushenko, but obviously no one believes him and they think Artur is just deluded after being labelled Plushyclone for too long. Because Plushenko doesn't know about Mishin's cyborg technology, he decides to temporarily accept his role as Artur since it gives him a young body to skate with! 'Artur' suddenly develops nerves of steel the following season and everyone is :scratch:

(Also, watched the subbed documentary last night. Really fun. Interesting that Plushy finds Miyu's spins special and something to build on--I thought the exact same thing! And lol, they have a bunch of helpers. So that's who cleaned that monster of a mansion before the TV crew came. ;) Loved hearing Akiko Suzuki's reactions after the training session. At the end, Plushy promised to return to the TV station. Wonder if that'll really happen?)

This convinces me that you could have worked in a dragon if you had really tried. Well, no matter. Here, this is what you do. You know people who work with tigers &c for movies? Well, I was reading that more productions are moving to Canada. (You're in Canada, right?) So, "all" you need to do is convince one of those productions that what they really need is a cheetah. Once Upon A Time should be a good option. They are there already, and they should be able to write a cheetah into their show, no problem. And so, you and your cheetah will be "in."

And yes, I know that people will come up with all manner of objections to this Cunning - not to say Briliant - Plan. But - pffft! You can't let yourself be bothered by such... bagatelles.
 
Umm... Ah, I know! Mishin has been searching for a long time for dragon heart/blood/bones/some creepy matter, which is rumoured to give eternal youth. (This chapter is titled, "Mishin the Dragon Slayer"). This was what he wanted to gift to Plushenko. The materials needed to be made into a complex potion, for which Mishin used Artur as his lab rat. Artur wasn't happy so... <insert deal with the Devil story and Plush ending up on the same training rink as TAT/Kovtun>.

I can convince those productions they need a cheetah, but how do I convince them to include me in the show?

:laugh: I am loving the story so far! Incidentally, since there is a Plushenko comic book forthcoming...maybe Chihiro or some other talented artist can work this into a series?

I don't know what the deal is with the oysters. Maybe they have some special powers too? I know they're rumored to boost virility...:slink:
 
Woah. I remember reading a brief manga (fan translated) about his early days... Is this the same thing or is it something different? C'mon, help me, brain...

I freaking love that Y-spiral, even though it was very brief. He had no business doing that at 30. :laugh: I prefer the black-and-white swan outfit though. He has too many plain black outfits... They all look nice on their own but it's a bit obvious when you group 'em together like that.

This is the true Saint-Saens Medley outfit! I still won't forgive him for not bringing it to Nationals, where he had the best performance of this program.
