Back to Phantom and Grace Gold for a minute, perhaps this could be a similar albeit female version of the version Lori created for Patrick Chan. If that is possible it can be a very competitive program for Grace. She will have to hit all the jumps to make it work. Brian Boitano's and Meryl/Charlie versions are a few of my favorite performances to Phantom and even though I'm not the biggest Patrick fan I did enjoy his interpretation/execution also. This does have potential.

Nice try Pitkeev, but your Exogenesis pt 3 will never be as good as Jeremy Abbott's. :disapp: And it irks me that he's going to be skating this at Skate America of all places. Moving along....

Have you seen the program already? I love Jeremy's program, but a pre-slamming isn't necessary.

No disrespect intended but it's how I feel. That Abbott piece is untouchable. Also, I don't seem to understand why I get called out yet others haven't seen Gold's Phantom and are complaining about it and everyone's comparing other skater's similar programs they haven't even seen yet to ones they have and no one gets called on it.

That's fine. But no need to slam a kid because he chose the same music. For all we know he's a Jeremy fan who wanted to skate to the same music, ala Jordan Moeller.

And I have the same opinion for Gold as well: I'll wait until I see the program before I comment on it.

I wasn't slamming him. There are other ways to honor your favorite skater than skating to the same piece of music they did the season before and are pretty well known for. I mean, all pieces of music to choose from (even ones Jeremy HAS done) and he picks that one?!

Muse has some great music that's for sure. I think Adian has potential -- it will be interesting to see the program.

The music belongs to the composers and the musicians, not the skaters imo. Skaters may aspire to produce the ultimate program to a given piece of music, but they don't own it.

For me, when I hear Exogenesis Part 3 I don't think of Jeremy, but of Sinead & John Kerr, who skated to it in 2010-2011, a year before Jeremy used it for the first time.

That's right!!! How great it was for them to get that second bronze medal at Euros with that program.

I'm well aware of this program and that it came before Jeremy's (I saw them skate it in person). I just didn't mention it because it's irrelevant to what I was discussing since they used it for ice dance.
