It was announced today that the venue for the event would be the Syma Event and Congress Centre. So far I could only find Hungarian soursec. They say that the ISU has approved of it.
Does anyone know anything about it? Is it usually hot or cold inside it? How is it (size, organization of the spaces etc.)? Has anyone been there for a fs event before? Thank you
As far as I know this is the first time that Syma hosts a figure skating event.
I've been to Syma once. It was also in January and it was pleasantly warm inside. But it was an exhibition about higher educational institutions which is obviously not the same.
Syma has three halls. The EC will be held in the biggest one, which is hall A. This is where you can see the layout of Syma:http://www.syma.hu/alaprajz.php?lang=en. And here you can find information on the size of the halls: http://www.syma.hu/muszaki.php?lang=en.
I hope this helps a bit.
According to the general rules of Ticketpro (official ticket purchaser of the event) it is forbidden to bring drink or food to the events. If you have small children it is allowed.
2. Taking pictures is allowed, but using FLASH IS FORBIDDEN.
3. Please bring warm clothes, becuase it will be cold in the Hall.
I called Syma Hall as I could hardly believe that we wouldn't be allowed to take any food and drink to the event. And they said that we could take some without any problem.
