Yay! So Youn was visibly anxious a bit, but she did well despite popping the lutz! :agree:

Will they broadcast the medal ceremony?

So Youn popped a lutz, but landed everything else clean including a 3L-2T-2Lo!!! She had a couple of slightly unstable landings though which might have lowered the GOE's.

So Youn's FS: http://live.sports.media.daum.net/video/general/108686/108861

Congratulations, So Youn!

Aww, not skating? Did she already hand out the medals? She looks great, as always. ;)

yes just watched it, love her jumps really strong but step sequence seemed slow, wonder how her pcs are, i bet its really low again :slink:

Well some of the jump landings were not too strong. Some GOE lowered, probably. The step sequence was not too slow, I thought. Also, the 2A in the end from the Ina Bauer was GORGEOUS.

i'm sure there will be fan cam videos soon..

These photos make me so happy. Both Yuna and the girls look overjoyed, especially So Youn is literally glowing. Is there a video of the ceremony?

Also, JHL's face in the photo with Yuna. Priceless.

he was checking her as*..

Was Soyoun clean?

Unstable landings on some jumps and a pop on the first 3Lz, but otherwise clean. She might have lost some
GOEs but I think she deserved at least 118. Judges are really strict here. I remember in GPF when Anna Pogorilaya got like 118 or 119 for a bad skate and she looked like she was expecting more. That felt rude to skaters who have clean skates yet they never get around that score.

This competition is like the complete opposite of Russian Nationals where pretty much everybody was scored too high (except Alena Leonova and maybe Julia Lipnitskaya).

Wait, why not? 15-year-olds can compete at Worlds, no? (Edmunds did) Da Bin will be 15 by then.

They can and it would be great if Da Bin went, but I've heard somewhere that Da Bin isn't eligible. Maybe wrong information?

Edit: Also, Da Bin is 14. In Korea, people are older by an age.

Edit: Oh wait. Ignore my previous edit. You're right she'll turn 15.
