Wow according to the report I saw Ayane Yokoi did a 3T-3T, 3Lz, and 2a and she's still out? Her performance but have been really bad! Maybe she under rotated a lot? Also sad to see Yuhana out too

Yuna's 3S-3Lo looked rotated (though small)! Shoma's 3A! And Wakaba's flip looks better! Inside edge or at least just a ! :yes:

I guess I say "disappointing" because she hasn't really improved results-wise since last year, and she's still very inconsistent (plus her showing at the Asian Open was hwell. But I can see now that her jumps are a lot bigger, and her flip edge is so much better! Those 3S-Lo-3F and 3F-Lo-3S combos are

Yeah that will happened with such a risky program. I mean his Base Value is soo highhh for a junior. But hopefully this will trigger him to practice more. since his jump has not yet stable for now.

Shoma's 4T is getting less consistent instead of the 3A. This layout is too much to handle for him at this point, isn't it? One of the 3A is intended as a 3A-3T. He needs some adjustments before the final. Sota has landed a clean 3A in the warmup. Hope he lands it in the next competition. Nakamura and Tomono landed the 3A in the SP. Since Kawahara is out of Japanese nationals, Nakamura is likey to get the third spot for JW.

Thank you for the result as always! Yes, the layout is too much for him. Hopefully though he can rise his landing ratio for both jumps. but I'm not sure if it will be in time before world.. maybe he can change the layout. put 1 quad instead of 2 if it going to hold him back.

thank you for posting these results as always Nmura. I hope Shoma can be happy that he won and not worry to much about 1 bad performance. It happens to all skaters from time to time.

Taichi withdrew Kinki regional due to injury. So he wasn't qualified. He tweeted he is getting better today.

FYI, Shoma landed 4T(so) , 3A, 3A+3T, 3Lo, 3Lz, 3S, 2A1Lo3F in morning practice. He also landed a few 3As including 3A+3T each in practices for two days. I didn't see any report about fall on 3A except for the one in today's FS.
His 4Ts might be still inconsistent, but I guess his 3As seem to be quite stable now.

woahhh Wakaba just got the best score for Japanese ladies this season and that's including the senior skaters! I know it's Nationals where everything is inflated but unbelievable. I need to watch the video now!
