I hope so does his skating.Javier looking extra hot today ...
Now let's pray Adam will pull off a Mao in the free skate.![]()
I hope so does his skating.

I hear you, I have penchant for following the headcases as well--it can take a few years off your lifeOn the bright side, when they do succeed it's also the most amazing, emotional triumph and you feel so satisfied (...well that's what I tell myself to get through it anyway haha).
Adam did something like that at his last international (I think Finlandia, but it was a weaker field). Looking back, I think Adam looked a bit tense during the warm-up. This is Adam's 7th year on the GP circuit. The question is, does he want to continue skating, and if so then can somebody get to the sources of his problems?
I guess it ain't that easy (looking at Jeremy Abbott with his talent and meager international results). At least Johnny Weir was able to get his competition nerves under control enough to make an impact over the course of his career. Actually, I think Johnny should have scored better at 2004 and 2005 Worlds, but politics kept him from medaling. He does have a bronze World medal from 2008. Also, of course Johnny should have come in at least 3rd or 4th place at Olympics 2010. His own nerves kept him from an Olympic medal in 2006.

Well, as they say GP events are good for working out the kinks and having a few falls, best to get it out of your system now and peak at Nationals. Adam looks devastated. But it doesn't have to be the end of the world, he still has opportunities to bounce back.
