Just waiting for the Pairs SP to start in Bratislava, so while I have a moment, can I just take this opportunity to wish all the best to Josh Brown (one of the stars on CBBC documentary series "Ice Stars" - see this thread), who will be kicking off Group 3.

Looking forward to see how he gets on in his Junior Grand Prix debut when I am playing catch-up tomorrow morning!

:cheer: ALL THE BEST JOSH B!!! :cheer:

Oh Taichiro...

Yuto Kishina looked good though. Promising for 13. Too bad about the fall.

*extra points for the Mura towel and coach beside him in the KnC

Is Aleix GABARA old enough for Europeans? Because it looks like he just got the Minimum TES for it? Does Spain have another skater than the two Javis or does he maybe have a chance?

Wow, Vladimir has a better I-spin than Deniss! I like him...could he go to Croatia still? Well, maybe not with that score, unless he does really well in the FS.

edit - just watched Nathan and he was great, but he still has the tendency to spend half of his program looking really bored and then remembering to sell it for just a little bit here and there...oh well, guess his score is high enough that he doesn't need to care too much.

spins look better - especially the flying sit spin. Still room for improvement. Bad camera angle on the step sequence.

Lazukin is a good skater but he has funding problems so he has to work to pay for his skating. That and his lack of mental toughness contributes to inconsistency. But when everything goes well he is very nice to watch, too bad it doesn't happen often.

"Slaythan" leads by 10 points - I think he's a shoo in for the final. Hope Daniel makes it too!

Want to see those 2 joking on the podium again at this comp.
