I am glad to see Maxim redeem himself after such a disastrous short program, but I really, really cannot get into his skating (or the ridiculous PCS scores the judges give him for it - which, of course, is not his fault in the least). There are lots of skaters with weak SS and artistry, but when you're known as a jumper, your jumps should at least have quality technique and be appealing to the eye. He is so hunched over when he jumps that it really is horribly visually unappealing.
