2016 JGP Ljubljana Cup Ladies FS

Third! :hopelessness: I don't think anyone saw that coming...

Go Alisa! May you spin with spellbinding spectacularness.

Rika changed the whole game....still not over her.

Zagitova got affected...

I can't believe what I'm reading. I can't watch, but what happened to Alina?

She looked wobbly on just about every jump, her performance looked frightened and she lost the 10p+ lead over Honda(Who didn't even have that good of a good program herself)

I can't concentrate on Lozko and Zagitova's performances..the 3A was damn so powerful and mind-blowing.

I feel very honored to have witnessed the making of history, realtime. :hap10:

Me, too! People who were fans in 2004, did it feel like this when baby Mao landed her first 3A? I feel like we might be witnessing the next Mao-type skater. All she needs are -3Lo combos and amazing StSqs :p

(It's kind of sad that I can see Alisa's URs in real time. Her musicality is wonderful, though.)

Aaaayy, not all American ladies are tragically inconsistent! :dance3: She's pretty even with Eunsoo right now-their programs are about equally difficult and equally clean. Not sure where they'll put her.

I would rather have inconsistency to "justify" having hope for improvement rather than putting forward a program equally difficult and equally clean and still not be competitive. It is refreshing to see some of these girls, Lim and Alisa for example, get off the ice so disappointed and still put up big scores and the other girls getting off happy and recieving such lower, noncompetitive, scores.

Honestly, if Evgenia can get a TES of 77 by doing crazy tanos, Rika's TES should be like 100

Lozko's lutz is a serious issue. It's a very very blatant flutz and so it gets an e and -GOE. She also always URs it. I wonder if she could replace it with something else and do 0 lutz jumps instead? It only gets maybe 2 points according to my estimations. Actually, likely not even 2 points. Maybe 1 and half. That's less than a 2Lo with decent GOE.

Tbh since Alaine had her go on the 3A. ;)

Makes sense. Like I actually hope Alaine can do it one day. Yes it's ambitious for me to think that since Alaine headcases, but when she's on, she's ON. Just like at Canadian Nationals 2016. Really like omg, imagine what would happen if she was clean AND had a 3A! :hap93:

THE LAYBACK, GUYS. THE LAYBACK.

(It would be very sad if Alisa's URs held her back as a senior because that layback deserves a chance to shine. :p)

She looked wobbly on just about every jump, her performance looked frightened and she lost the 10p+ lead over Honda(Who didn't even have that good of a good program herself)

So she let Rika's 3a get to her. Sigh...
