Nathan did seem to have a massive progression in PCS as the season went on.

Finlandia: 74.86
Trophee de France: 79.36
NHK Trophy: 84.06
GPF: 84.42

I also think +GOE was pretty generous at Nationals -- but that was for everyone, not just Nathan, so that's will influence how he will score.

I agree he made improvements, but I do think some of the PCS bump also is partially from increased consistency, which we've seen with the likes of Evgenia Medvedeva in the ladies, and a reflection of a general inflation of PCS scores in general.

The question for me, at this point, is whether we'll see him push 90+, like he did at U.S. Nationals.

It is not about Finlandia to GPF as much as it is GPF to US Nats. He scored above 9 points higher there in GOEs+PCS (91) for the FS and no, that should not be happening because that program does not deserve 90+ in PCS. Not even remotely. You mean seven points? To be fair every nationals over scored their athletes. Shoma got a FS score of 192 with major errors. Kaetlyn scored 138 with two falls. You can't take these scores seriously.

But I do think he will get a PCS of 88 or 89. There's always a jump in PCS when a new senior becomes consistent and another when they become a national champ.

I see that Denis Ten is not on the list any more, but he already won the title for the event two years back and still seemed to struggle with his health, so the decision could be a wise one. I wonder when he can land 4S in competition. I hope he delivers two clean programs back to back at Worlds in Helsinki.

It seems that the bad guys have quad lutzes and the good guys do not. So you are right, since Yuzu have been dabbling with the dark arts of quad lutz behind his teacher's back (or front). It's only a few more competitions before he goes to the dark side.

The meddling with the Darkest Art is, however, but a distraction, a diversion. For she is running a long-tail plan, banking on none of the so-called "Wise" to see it coming. For she knows that they will overlook her child of the sand and sea, for being from a Jedi community that is too small to count, and she knows that the corrupt US Force Squad association have been entranced by the Sith Lord Darth Chen and will not look for an attack from her child of the mountains.

Already the meddling in the Darkest Arts has paid off, for it has resurrected a Force-user so powerful, his own powers once turned against him.
