nice skate by starr! solidly into first for now. wish she would have ripponed a few jumps as she did at nationals but overall a VERY strong skate and she looked nervous on that first jump so good for her for pulling it off.

I'm glad she took her time between jumps and stayed focused.

Is she going to train some harder jumps? Probably too late for Pyeongchang but still. She has sooooo much potential.

She has flip and lutz but isnt consistent with the triple toe on the end of them yet.

No we hate ugly looking tanos. Rippons are pretty to look at.

Ugh, poor Juni Marie. She's qualified to the FS the past two years, but no way it'll happen now. 31.83, way way off her PB score by 16 points.

She has these jumps. But she injured her ankle mid season so they got very inconsistent. I've seen her land them in practice. I hope she'll see a good jump coach for next season. She tends to learn things she's been struggling with very well over the summer.

I prefer rippons comparing to classical jumps... when i started watching figure skating i found hand positions in jump distracting, cause they look so tight like the skater is holding his body cause he is afraid to jump

This girls team has it all wrong. The music is way too sophisticated yet the ponytail and bangs. Something age appropriate with new dress. hair and makeup. Such a shame.

ermmm... i see you don't have many posts in the forum... so maybe you haven't seen all the people complaining about Medvedeva and how she shouldn't use tanos to earn more points on every jump etc etc...

I say rippons are lightyears ahead of tanos. Most tanos are haphazardly slung over the skaters head.
