I will never not WOW at Maia and Alex's twizzles.

Maia and Alex need something VERY different next year. They tried to make this Coldplay 2.0 but it didn't work. It was extremely lovely but their gala program is, in my opinion, their best program this season.

My biggest pet peeve of Maia is her darn hair! She always has flyaways no matter what! Messy hair bothers the heck out of me. Hair spray and bobby pins, girl! Though if that is my biggest criticism of her, that's not too bad.:luv17:

To be honest, I think H/D have a chance. This hasn't been Shibs year and this FD proves it. No crescendo, nothing truly memorable.

Actually they chose this program because they didn't want to do Coldplay 2.0. I don't think this program is all that great though. They executed it well so good for them. I wouldn't mind if they did Coldplay 2.0 for the Olympic season.

Zhulin? always said speed wins and B/S are fast. You can be a bit sloppier apparently if you are faster.

And have longer legs.

I loved that Shibs program. Really. I was meh about it earlier this year but today it worked... maybe because i am in a good mood... anyway, those twizzles are the best in the world, hands down...

It's not meant to have a crescendo. Not every dance has to follow a formula.

It's still my favorite program of the year, in any discipline. A beautiful sigh of a program. Thank you Shibs!

ETA: B/S still in first place. Now normally I am not a big conspiracy person, but how stupid do they think we are? I would call it what it is but doing so would get me banned.

My wording is once again bad. I didn;t mena it in bad way. And by "they" I didin't mean judges, but C/B, by making mistakes.

Italian commentator interviewd Paola Mezzadri, C/L's coach, and she was pissed!
Said that was their best performance of the season and yet the judges scored it very badly.
Then she mutterd something about a group with similar programs and no personality but nothing was added or explained.

There are just so many very good teams. Its not like they got pummelled by B/S besides B/S are no slouches and they may have been undermarked in the sd anyways. And when you talk about karma or justice not that the Italians have done something wrong but they have a world title and arguably t should have been Weapo and really is it fair C/L have a world title and the Shibs, Chock and Bates, weapo, B/S don't and unless they stick around won't have a world title?

Come on... C/L are average skaters at best, and their program isn't interesting at all..

Their choreography is better than Russians one imo. Also C/L accelerate easier. I would not call them average skaters.
