2017 Worlds Short Dance

Just realised this will be the last time we see these awful costumes this season!!!



Unless, of course, they get invited to the Gala, in which case we will see the reverse colour version of Nicole's dress.

Seriously, though. Even though I mock their costumes every time they do their SP, I do like this couple.

This is honestly one of the least flattering dresses I've ever seen in skating. When she's not in motion it's okay but (and sorry to be vulgar but really) when she is (especially when the camera isn't close) her breasts are so small that it looks like the black is her breasts (even though they're above it) and like they are both unusually low on her chest and like her partner is grabbing them awkwardly at various moments in the dance. It's honestly distracting to me.

They used to make t-shirts that looked like you had a man's hands covering your breasts. I think it was because of the Janet Jackson Rolling Stone cover back a long time ago. It was quite racy for it's time.

I agree the dress is dreadful. Maybe a relative made it?

This is my feeling too- they had incredible potential but have unfortunately regressed if anything.

The French team makes me happy though

They splitted at a certain point last year, and they regrouped, but of course they lost training period.

I decided it was meant to be a visual counterpoint to highlight the lovely softness of their dance. But I should warn you I am taking meds to combat a respiratory infection

For me it's okay when she's not moving like I said, but when she is it just stops working. Glad you don't see it though, I wouldn't wish seeing it on anyone

Although I have been referring all season to it looking like Nicole is wearing a black bra on top of her dress, and that it has slipped over her belly, I never thought of it like that.

I actually really like this team. They're still not quite technically all the way there but they're fun and seem to have a good grasp of their music and how to best perform the heck out of it. I hope they'll work hard in the off season and come out strong next year

The Koreans had one of the better blues patterns so far. That seemed better to me than the 4CC performance. They might clear through (and this really strikes me as The Fodder Flight, so that would be impressive if they do!).
