2018 GP Helsinki Ladies Short Program

That was a nice performance! Still needs a little bit of improvement on the height of the jumps, speed, skating skills (she got level 1 SS), but her spins were great and she is very graceful!

But she did have a lovely and unusual first position on her layback.

Man, that music just defines Tinkly Pianopalooza!

Lovely spins as usual, Haneul :luv17: I'm not sure why she got a level 1 for her step sequence though, she got level 2 at Finlandia.

BTW, Haneul means 'sky' in Korean, so seeing her in a lovely blue dress is pretty satisfying

Where are you seeing level 1? Is there a live scoring going on somewhere?

I'm watching on eurosport player and there is the technical content listed on the upper left side of the screen. Including GOE and levels.

This Korean girl did so well! I’m so happy that we started off with a graceful, clean skate

During the programme (not the highlight distribution), there should be a box on the left showing the current skater’s TES, leader’s TES, and the BV + GOE of the last element performed.

StSq levels aren’t always what’s shown in the TES box. They may go up or down a level after the TP reviews them before announcing scores.

It’s still ridiculous that Kim almost didn’t get a Grand Prix after being thirteenth at the Olympics.

Okay guys educate me I only know Zagitova, who else do I need to keep my eyes on?

RIKA!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry. Being realistic, Rika is probably not going to be in the mix for a medal. But, I just really like her. She did an amazing Riverdance routine a couple of years ago. And she is mixed race - she has British ancestry on her Dad's side.

We still don’t know yet, let’s see how she does today!
