It actually undermines her. It’s like Serena Williams doesn’t need her achievements to be compared to men to prove her GOAT status.

No. Eunsoo is not outstanding in any PCS category, much less compared to her peers in juniors. Maybe her IN and PE could be higher, but SS and TR no.

Actually Eunsoo is not particularly impressive live, PCS-wise. Her skating is generally quite bland, nice being the right word here. It's all nice and quite forgettable. She has loads of potential but seemingly no one in her environment that is able to use it in her advantage.

Okay, I'm gonna say this now and be criticized forever.

I think Trusova is spectacular, I truly do. But I think she's just started a very dangerous era for women skaters, one that I'm not sure I'm going to like.

It was spectacular and such an accomplishment, but I really don't want to see women getting injured attempting quads - Trusova's 13 and is super tiny, but it could be so dangerous and damaging to 'older' athletes (and for artistry imho)

I don't think she's going to start a 'new era'. It's not feasible in the long run for actual grown women.

And then for the Olympic year the judges would find some new 15 yr old,
