Lucie and Lukas get lost in Liza Minnelli's voice, at least in the first part... And on 'Maybe this Time' too. That is such a big piece of music and they didn't preform to it.

Those twizzles were very out of synch. But I do like how they didn't take a 'breathing' break anywhere.

This did overpower them (and she could do with a better dress), but I like how they came together so quickly. I miss Testa though.

MYSLIVECKOVA+CSOLLEY: There are only a handful of skaters that can sell me hokey vaudeville, they aren't one of them unfortunately. I like the commitment though, the lifts need more fluidity and speed to sell the character of the music.

I've made a fresh batch of homemade hummous, with fresh tomatoes and avocado on the side, and white chocolate chip cookies for dessert. With Earl Gray tea.

I figure if the judging is as abysmal as yesterday at least I'll be and (for the most part) nutritiously fed!

Uhhhhhh, I hate this russian stream, the commentators are just so negative I cannot stand listening to them. It's not like they're saying anything horrible, but they just don't like anything. Anyone know who they are? And is there perhaps a different stream?

Interesting rotational lift, somewhat stationery as well. Circular step to Mein Herr could be jazzier and meet the character more (Level 2). First set of twizzles were out of sync and they got very close together (Level 4). Good lift though to emphasize the end of the musical passage. Curve lift was a bit rough with the changes of position. Alright combo spin which could have better centering. Diagonal step was bit flat-footed and not that difficult (Level 2). Alright choreo rotational lift to end.

I actually had the time to watch Cabaret last month and, well, they weren't big enough to match that Fosse jazz, though not many people can. It's sort of an intermission performance. They're going to get dinged a bit on the step sequences since their edges were adequate and hold changes were a bit rough in places.
