My heart is BREAKING for Evgenia.

But Alina trying not to sob even though you can tell she's crying, and playing it so cool when she realizes she's won gold is almost sad in a way. Why does it make me feel sad?

Those jumps of Med are just not comparable to some of the top Ladies i don't see her keeping them as she gets older. Very little speed and power going into those jumps and no flow.

Wooooow. Evgenia gave it her all and laid it all on the ice. She is not my favorite skater, but I have immemse respect for what she has done in the last few seasons. A silver medal is nothing to sneeze at. Evgenia will be considered a legend.

Really really sorry that Med did not win this. I thought Zag was overscored in PCS but the judges thought overwise. Same exact score in LP.

Good bye. Figure skating died in Sochi, I thought skaters might able to resuscitate it, but this has truly flatlined for good.
