I'm pretty ignorant about ice dance judging, so is there something weird with the judging? The female commentator on NBC has made several complaints about it, and I was just wondering if you guys agreed that something is wrong here.

The judges are being incredibly generous

Looks like 'four' button was unblocked for tech panel for that one, let's look for which element it was blocked this time...

I wonder if Tanith is complaining about the inconsistency. They were tossing level 1 and 2 Rhumba to top teams just a week ago and all of a sudden they're giving level 3 and 4s like candy to LOWER RANKED teams.

In the team event they were being really strict. Tonight we've already had a level 4 pattern. Very lenient tonight

Agafonova / Ucar (TUR)

Good sync through the twizzles, no problem (Level 4). Not a fan of the sudden change of music into the rhumba step, but still very well done with the edges (Level 3). Interesting connections in the partial step, but it could have deeper edges and better holds (Level 2). Better flow through the midline step but only a Level 2. Fairly good rotational lift to end the program.

Just a bit flat with the energy and an awkward music change. Their edges can be a bit flat so I'm not surprised about their drops in levels on the steps.
