2018 Olympic Figure Skating Short Dance

I'm pretty ignorant about ice dance judging, so is there something weird with the judging? The female commentator on NBC has made several complaints about it, and I was just wondering if you guys agreed that something is wrong here.

The tech panel is being pretty lenient with calling things like blade placement in step sequences. You're at the Olympics, though... Scores generally go up, it's expected.
I don't like Tanith's commentary.

They probably married for the citizenship+ they don't have chemistry, very weird.

They were married in 2015, she got citizenship in December of 2017...
Marina Anissina lived in France for about a year and a half to partner with Gwendal in about 1992-93, and she became a citizen in 1994.
I don't think they married to get her citizenship, if she had waited she would have gotten it at about the same time.
