2018 Olympic Figure Skating Short Dance

In the team event they were being really strict. Tonight we've already had a level 4 pattern. Very lenient tonight

Its true, but to be fair all those teams already got L4 this season. Its not like they are getting them for the first time. And from what i can see they are skating with no visible mistakes and deep edged for now Im pretty sure this is the best skating from those skaters we've got this season so

Coomes / Buckland (GBR)

Complex connections right from the start. Powerful and precise edgework through the rhumba steps (Level 4). Nice cartwheeling backwards and forwards in the Level 4 curve lift. Good hold changes throughout the partial step (Level 3). A little awkward in the first set of twizzles but better twizzles in the second and third sets (Level 3). Fairly strong curves in the midline step (Level 3).

I thought that the choreography was very interesting, given that this is a Christopher Dean program, with different kinds of holds and shapes. Strong curves, speed, and knees, though I felt the choreography was a bit stiff still and I didn't get that Latin sass and flavor as much.

I wonder if Tanith is complaining about the inconsistency. They were tossing level 1 and 2 Rhumba to top teams just a week ago and all of a sudden they're giving level 3 and 4s like candy to LOWER RANKED teams.

Yup.

:noshake:

I can't find one that says "I'm so GRRRRRRRRR that I'm using an icon so I don't get banned" icon so that will have to do. I'm finding the judging that bad already.

No, they did not marry just to get her citizenship. They married because they fell in love.

Well I'd hope so because I'm pretty sure it's actually illegal to get married simply for citizenship...Or at the very least they scruntinize the marriage and if they're not convinced it's genuine they'll refuse citizenship, at least in the US. A friend of mine's mother married a US guy and they had to produce all sorts of evidence before she could get US citizenship.

Kurt is comparing Christopher Dean’s choreography to the man being a dog shaking around a bone (the woman). I can’t even. :laugh2:

Aw, Nazarova and Nikitin aren't going to qualify? But then we don't get to see her sparkle sculpture of a hairdo!
