2018 Olympic Figure Skating Short Dance

Off unison on the turns in the sbs sequence, she was awkward on the choctaw, but overall better than the Shibs I guess?

Only a deduction if something touches the ice; IE feather falling from Ilinykh's costume in Sochi or a bead.

I thought so, but I couldn't see in the replay if it just came undone or if a clasp or something accidentally flew off!

Fortunately not!

But wow it's gonna be a pretty crazy FD! On the one hand I love Tessa and Scott's...those lifts and footwork are jaw dropping! Gabbi and Guilluame's FD is really beautiful though.

Who will win...nobody knows!

I have a feeling the European judges will go overboard with PCS by FS for P/C and we will have controversy. let's see if I am right. :dev3:

This will be the scandal of these Olympics! Sochi had Sotnikova, Vancouver had Lysacek, etc. I'm all for it.

Nice job by H/D! :) They should be very pleased with themselves. I don't like this program as much as their FD, but it was well done.

This is the best I've seen Madi and Zach skate the sd, terrific for them!

Loved p/c, they are troopers getting through the costume problem.

Hubbell / Donohue

Wonderful edge quality in their midline step, just a tad out of sync (Level 4). Good steps through the rhumba pattern (Level 4). Wonderful patience through the liquid-like hold changes in the partial step (Level 4). Nice counter-balance curve lift. A little far apart on the twizzles (Level 3).

A bit tight on the twizzles, still don't know why they choose to do these last. Also not sure where they lost the level unless it's in the arms. But wonderful and silent edgework with better flow through the partial step than I've seen from them in the past. I like their rhumba interpretation more than their samba, but very, very good. On par with the Shibs overall.
