Shame on the fall on the attempted rippon 3Lz. That opening 3F+3T was a cracker and clearly rotated. The 2A was very strong as well. The first spin could be better positions, but the flying sit and the layback were better. The footwork had good flow and had sensitive touches. Amber did grab the tone of the music; she could work on moving with the music with better timing but she has good expression and interpretation.

Im sure she tapes it every competitions as most skaters do. Maybe she was retying her skates?

Not her best but that performance should keep Mariah in the mix for sure. The downside is that her short program is perfect for her while her free skate is not.
