2020-21 Russian Nationals: Ladies' Short Program

Anya said that she is happy with her performance because she is still not 100% recovered and definitely feels that. The interviewer asked whether she will have enough energy for the free skate, she said “we should always hope”, which was said in a joking manner but still a bit scary.
To offer correction: she said “Of course!” first, and then joked it off by saying “the main thing is to believe!”. She continued by saying that they’ll try (to the max) to condition in order to peak and have everything done in the FS.

Thank you for calming me down a little (y)

She needs to do more than skate straight into the jumps to get better GOEs.
I get that, but her jump technique is just so good that I like her jumps more even without transitions than someone(s) who do a crap ton of transitions, take off on the wrong edge, and pre rotate. I do think that to fully utilize her points Liza T definitely needs more transitions though...
