Aw man, I'm really sad for Kolyada to miss out on a potential Euros gold but really happy that Mozalev has another chance to improve his season's best.

Hope Misha has a quick recovery and is able to do well at the Olympics. I'm too scared to hope Andrei medals at Euros so I'm just going to pray he skates well. 🙏

I just realized he got a 2-day notice, unless he knew earlier. I am gonna go load up on paper bags, because I am panicking.

the better, silent technique for deflating balloons
Stick tape on it and poke a needle through the spot :D

Hope Misha's foot injury isn't too serious!
I think if RusFed isn't totally oblivious they should be prepared to send alternates like Andrei to Olys too, in view of all those Covid-positive withdrawal issues affecting US/CAN Nats now...

Nah, she was gently untying them or something, and I chased after her to poke them with a sharp object… yeah, I know. Xtreme is our household.

Kogan sounds optimistic about Misha's recovery time, so let's hope for the best.

I am pretty sure it was abundance of caution. Given he needs to do Team Event and Individual, Eu is more of a risk than it’s worth for him. Plus, Crow returning internationally at Oly will make more of a splash.

Part of me hopes this was a clever ploy by RusFed to protect Misha from COVID and have a Zhenya-Andrei skateoff, but if he's actually injured, that's major bad news for the Team Event (and for me, I love his skating)

Okay, I confess that I put up the 4th balloon this morning when I came into the office. I am so happy to see all 3 of the young men doing so well, and each in his own style, the Steady, the Soulful and the Spontaneous. It was really fantastic! I did not at all expect Mozalev pull ahead, but this is such a fantastic development, how close and clean they were. Just beautiful. :cheer::tantrum::bsplit::hap10::jump::yahoo:
