Can't say I saw fair judging in pairs Is it too early to say I told you so?

In men it was close to fair.

So, my final feeling about the judging was what I expected. There were cases of Japanese getting preferential judgment, with endlessly cushioned Kagiyama and new recipients of the Japanese Bonus R/R. Bell was pushed up a great deal, while Zhou in the short was pushed down harshly. For reasons I cannot comprehend, team Russia-for-Georgia got preferential judging (happy for Gubanova), but Russia-for-Azerbaijan didn’t . Koreans’ judging improved, and for once, Grassl didn’t get minced.

What I can’t understand is why Canadians were left high and dry, with obviously unfavourable judging for Schizas and J/R.
