Oh, the opening ceremony is starting up now, so I guess that's why the stream was so early.

An Xiangyi is dressed up as Chang'E, with a lot of little girls skating in glowing dresses. Kind of cool.

OKay :) good :) or not good... depending on how early/late we are in our time zones LOL

Beijing is actually almost perfect for me, I get up, dress, have breakfast, and then they are on, and later I can go skating myself, lol.
Just not good for getting work done. Guess I will have to do something in the evening instead.

it's not very good for me because it makes me stay up too late ;) but at least, I get to watch some skating. When it's in Europe, I see nada.

yeah, similar for me with many competitions in Canada... East coast I think? the two most uncompatible time zones I guess (okay, mathematically that doesn't make sense, but in terms of fs competitions)

Canada's east coast events during the evening, of course, you'd be sleeping ... but if i were European, I'd watch them :) because i am a night owl. But for me, the problem with Europe is that it happens in the morning/afternoon in Canada so then I am working. I can skip sleep.. I cannot skip work LOL

I can delay work, but I need my sleep when I'm sleepy

Before we start, can I take the opportunity to thank @dorispulaski for the comprehensive Original Posts that she does for these competition threads.

And in particular for including the link for the livestream.

I had the Junior GP channel page open all morning waiting for the stream to appear, and was starting to panic when there was no sign of it with 10 minutes to go. But then I came in here to do the reminder post, and discovered from the OP that the Juniors are actually on the Senior channel this week.

I can understand the ISU wanting the entire event to be on the same channel. It makes sense. But at the same time, it does not make sense to have the Final of the Junior GP Series on a different channel to the rest of the series.

In short, the Junior competitions should have been simulcast on both channels.
