Some things to note for this event: the Korean skaters are, of course, coming off of the Ranking Competition in Korea. That didn't seem to affect the men much in the short, but it's more likely we may see some fatigue in the FS. Jia Shin won that event easily, so she is coming in on a high note. Mao Shimada had an unusual mistake at Junior Nats, making a mistake on the opening jump of her triple-triple combo. She replicated that mistake in her runthrough yesterday, but was clean in practice today. Ami Nakai is recovering from injury, and had a disastrous JNats. I believe she was on painkillers at that event, and has not had nearly as much training time as she would have liked. Wishing her all the best of health :ghug:

I guess they are all in the same boat since no other nations made the finals :)

This is so annoying... i could stay up for more... especially for senior pairs just after this... BUT then, if i do that, i will want to see men and junior pairs... and then i would go to bed at 8am or so...

Aw nuts I forgot this was on, I missed the young lads (did I miss anything else?)

I'm watching the Aussie Nats at the same time as this. Hope my Aussie internet can handle it!

And hey there Ted!
