I don't understand the scheduling. It's always empty Thursday as expected in the middle of the day, full or near on Saturday as you would expect with the women's event.

Actually, it looks as though the arena is filling up more. It might be mostly full by the pairs. Certainly a lot more people than Thursday last year.

Last year's top 3 was also very unexpected. Most of the couples are new and it is impossible to predict what shape they will be in at Nats.

Really maybe the leaders aren't as strong as the SinKats were, but the lower places on the Nats have gotten a lot better.

So I'm not the only one, then.

I had everything planned out according to the deadline for the Predictions. But, it turns out that it was set up for Moscow Time, rather than Yekaterinburg Time. Waiting until the resurfacing to have breakfast would have been too late, so I skipped the first group.

Unfortunately, the stream can't be re-wound. So I hope we will be able to catch up on those we missed somewhere.
