My brain had a bit of "shock" when I realized the song is in my native language

Awww. Everything about that was beautiful. The music, the dress, the skating. Everything!

Such a pity about the fall.

And such a pity that Michelle's ISU Bio doesn't tell us much about her. I would like to know more about her.

There again, her coach's ISU Bio doesn't say much either!

Into 29th position. But, the skaters ahead of her are pretty close, and she has a good gap over the skaters behind her. So there is potential to move up in the FS.

A great debut from Petra, her only small mistake was a skidded landing on the 2A.
She has really nice spins and her triples are nice and big. Really tall girl too for being only 15.

Petra was born in NZ, and has a Kiwi mother.

Not that I'm complaining. It is great to see so many good skaters emerging from a country not normally associated with the sport.

That said, you can see she is definitely a Finnish skater. The Finns are such beautiful skaters. And Petra is no exception.
